Good morning followers! I’ve decided to post a short instrumental up today titled “Waiting.” There really isn’t much behind the song except that I wrote it a day or two after Listening an instrumental titled “Driving To The Highway” by Kaki King off of the soundtrack from Sean Penn’s “Into The Wild.”

Good morning followers! I’ve been really busy the past couple of days but luckily I found some free time this morning to put up another track.
This one came so fast. One second I’m messing around with a riff, the next thing you know I’m in my cousin’s bathroom recording a song.
This is obviously the first demo. I love the arrangements and can’t wait to hear it in the studio with a bass line and drum work.
The song is titled “Do Not Hold Doors”

I would usually upload a song in the morning but I was pretty far from the computer today. So today’s song is titled “Thank You (But No)” and I feel the need to give somewhat of a back story on why I wrote this song.
You see, I am a self taught musician and I feel that I have an unconventional approach to playing music. About a year ago at Sidewalk Cafe down in the East Village, I played an open mic. After showcasing two of my songs, I was approached by an older musician, he offered to teach me music theory and wanted me to learn guitar his way.
throughout the year, he would continue to tell me that my approach was wrong and that I should do things differently but I found myself telling him again and again that we are just from two different worlds.
He swore I was wrong and that I should do things his way and it eventually got to the point where we had stopped talking, thus the creation of this tune.
Somewhere down the road we finally came to an understanding.
